Partnership with Migrant Talents

Migrant Dancers Singapore

Employing an asset-based community development model, we partner and support migrant interest groups in developing their gifts and talents. Our partnership with the Migrant Dancers Singapore first began in an event in 2022 when we first invited them to perform. 

Our recent collaboration features a short video that explores the unique role dance plays in their self-identities, aspirations and mental health. Through dance, they cultivate multicultural friendships that transcend ethnic, cultural and nationality lines based on mutual learning and respect, modelling what inclusivity looks like. However, their dance aspirations as not without it struggles and challenges. Its membership includes Bangladeshis, Filipinos, Indonesians and a Singaporean.
